Art for Peace Festival

Art for Peace Festival is a festival that started in 2013 in various artistic majors and media such as cinema, music, painting, photography, installation, etc. This festival started under the directorship of Mr. Fereidoun Farboud and has continued until now, and every year awards are given to young and pioneer artists in each field by a number of judges in each section. The main focus of this festival is peace, as its name suggests. In fact, the collection of works and the selection of artists is based on the centrality of the theme of peace in their works. It should be noted that the issue of peace is an international goal for the peaceful coexistence of people of all races, religions, and nationalities, so this festival considers transnational and therefore international goals in addition to national goals. The centrality of peace, the prominent role of visual arts, especially painting and photography in this festival, the expansion of visual culture, the emphasis on meaning-centeredness in the work and other features of this festival, which are also mentioned as goals in its constitution, have motivated the Mojdeh Art Gallery, to participate in this festival in different periods. Mojdeh Art Gallery has suggested the works of a number of pioneer and young artists to be presented in the festival exhibition during the annual festival and with the consent of its judges, these works have been displayed. Apart from participating and presenting the works, Mojdeh Art Gallery has participated in periods of this festival as a financial and spiritual sponsor.
