Unveiling of the Book Sadegh Tabrizi A Retrospective at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art

Continuing its research-oriented approach to the lives and works of Iran’s modern and contemporary artists, Mojdeh Art Gallery, in collaboration with the family of the late Sadegh Tabrizi and the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, unveiled the research book Sadegh Tabrizi A Retrospective on December 22, 2025, at the museum’s Cinematheque Hall.

The speakers at the event, in order of appearance, were Mojdeh Tabatabaei, Dr. Ilmira Dadvar, Kianoosh Motaghedi, Dr. Marzieh Athari Nikazam and Master Einoddin Sadeghzadeh. While examining and analyzing Sadegh Tabrizi’s works, the speakers paid tribute to his rich life and artistic journey, which he has left as a legacy for future generations, and honored the memory of this great artist.

In addition, the film The Ancient Present, a review of Sadegh Tabrizi’s life, directed by Mehdi Rezakhani, was screened. It should also be noted that concurrently with the book unveiling ceremony, works by Sadegh Tabrizi from the collection of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art were exhibited in Gallery No. 6 of the museum.
