Rethinking Landscape

Landscape can be considered as a place for thinking and observing. Where an observer with a specific intention looks, and their observations create their unique landscape. In this sense, although the three artists in this exhibition have looked at similar natural landscapes, the outcome of these perspectives reveals three different insights. This difference, while primarily manifesting in form, indicates that a landscape is not merely for looking at; it's a place for thought and rethinking. It is in this rethinking that the perceptible is translated and painted in different forms by a unique observer—an observer whose way of being in the world is different from others. These very differences in re-examining the landscape have brought the artists of this exhibition together.
