Deen Group Exhibition in Alhosh Gallery based in Qatar

On March 8th 2025, a group exhibition titled “Deen” was held in Alhosh gallery in Qatar. The works in this exhibition, which had an Islamic theme, were displayed on the occasion of Ramadan and curated by Dr. Jochen Sokoly. In this exhibition artworks by Iranian artists Master Mohammad Ehsaei and Einoddin Sadeghzadeh were also presented and displayed by Mojdeh Art Gallery.

In the sacred atmosphere of Ramadan, Alhosh Gallery presents “Deen: Art and Islam – A Journey of Faith”, an exhibition exploring Islamic spirituality, expression, and ritual through the visual arts. The exhibition comprises both historical and contemporary works created by a group of renowned artists, offering a visual narrative that captures the essence of Islamic faith during Ramadan—a time of prayer, and fasting. Featured works include works of calligraphy, photography, installations focusing on the expression of faith, and a fragment of the sacred Kiswa, as well as Hajj certificates that embody the sanctity of Mecca, the Kaaba, and the act of Tawaf. Central to “Deen: Art and Islam – A Journey of Faith” are the unique perspectives on Islamic worship and what it means to be a Muslim. This exhibition invites visitors to embark on a reflective journey, immersing themselves in the profound meanings of Islamic faith through art.
